We are seeking a Senior Front-End /AI Developer with strong React and AI expertise to lead the transformation of our eCommerce platforms. You will play a key role in modernising our front-end architecture and integrating AI-powered solutions to enhance user experience, development workflows, and business performance.

About the Role

You'll drive the next generation of our customer-facing applications, using React and modern front-end technologies to deliver fast, intuitive, and intelligent interfaces. Working closely with product, design, and back-end teams, you'll also leverage AI tools to optimise development, automate testing, and create smarter user interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the rebuild of front-end applications using React, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and supporting frameworks
• Integrate AI-powered features into the user experience (e.g., personalised recommendations, intelligent search)
• Use AI developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Tabnine) to boost productivity and maintain code quality
• Collaborate with designers and back-end engineers to deliver seamless, scalable solutions
• Mentor junior front-end developers, promoting best practices and innovation

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years' front-end development experience, with deep expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Proven experience using AI tools in a development context
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and front-end performance optimisation
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and CI/CD workflows
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
