IT Applications Specialist - CAD/PLM Systems

The Opportunity

If you thrive in fast-moving, hands-on environments where digital systems meet real engineering, this role will grab you.
You'll be the go-to expert keeping the CAD, PLM, and PDM backbone running supporting the tools that design and build complex, mission-critical hardware.

What You'll Be Doing

• Take ownership of key engineering applications such as SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Teamcenter, and Windchill.

• Keep systems licensed, patched, secure, and performing smoothly.

• Build smart automations that eliminate repetitive fixes.

• Partner directly with engineers to streamline workflows and system integrations.

• Modernise Legacy processes and leave them better than you found them.

• Maintain solid documentation - because you know good records save time and headaches.

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience supporting CAD/PLM tools in an engineering or manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of license Servers, patching, and upgrade management.

• Comfortable with Windows Server, SQL, and hybrid setups (Azure experience a bonus).

• Strong Scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

• Excellent communicator who can bridge IT and engineering teams.
