2nd Line IT Support Engineer Greater Manchester | Hybrid | £30k - £35k
SR2 are helping to recruit an experience 2nd Line Engineer for one of our Manchester based clients. The client is an established and award-winning managed service provider and are looking to grow their team. If you're passionate about technology, enjoy solving problems, and want to work in a supportive, hands-on environment, then this could be the role for you.
Role: - Provide 2nd line support across hardware, software, and network issues
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical problems as needed
- Support system rollouts, upgrades, and improvement projects
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and resolutions
Requirements: - Proven experience in a 2nd line IT support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Office 365
- Good understanding of networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Experience with virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V) and backup tools
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Package: - £30,000 - £35,000 salary
