You'll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking environment where cutting-edge technology meets meaningful purpose.Your New RoleAs a Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll be a key contributor to the Ground Segment Software team, working on mission-critical applications for space operations. You'll design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions supporting major space missions, including the development of backend services, dynamic user interfaces, and high-performance databases. Your expertise will help shape scalable systems using modern technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaboration is central to this role, with opportunities to work closely with cross-functional teams and lead agile development practices.Ideal candidates will bring strong full stack development experience and a background in space or adjacent sectors such as defence, aviation, telecommunications, or automotive.What you'll need to succeedTo thrive in this role, you'll need:Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of real-world experience developing software for mission-critical applications in the space domain or adjacent industries. 3+ years of full stack development experience. 3+ years of object-oriented programming experience (preferably in Java, Python, or C++). 3+ years of experience developing frontend applications with modern frameworks (preferably React).Highly Desirable skillsStrong demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas: Containerized applications and container orchestration technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Docker Compose). CI/CD pipelines tools such as GitLab CI or GitHub Actions. Proficiency in SQL databases and data management. Proficiency with Git and version control workflows. Working in an Agile/SCRUM environment. Familiarity with CCSDS standards or ECSS data communications protocols. Schema database formats (SCOS2000 / XTCE, etc)? Working in Ground Segment systems. Cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
