Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2

Job Overview:

Resources will provide deskside and floorwalking support to our client colleagues during the migration from Zoom to Microsoft Teams. This includes end-user assistance, coaching, "how do I?" guidance, and adoption support following induction training delivered by QA trainers. The resource may work in tandem with another technician floorwalking on site, and a local resource can be used.

Location: Bristol

Daily Rate: PAYE - £14.54/hr (Basic) and UMB - £18.87/hr

Contract Length: 5 Months

Start Date: 29-Oct-2025 to 27-Mar-2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Support colleagues with Microsoft Teams queries such as:
  • Setting up/joining meetings, calls, and chat
  • Sharing and collaborating on documents in Teams
  • Troubleshooting login or MFA issues
  • Fixing Teams/Outlook calendar integration
  • Resolve end-user issues (audio/video not working, connectivity problems, app crashes, sync errors).
  • Coach colleagues on "how do I?" questions (e.g. sharing screens, adjusting notifications, using the mobile app).
  • Direct users to self-serve resources and digital training content.
  • Capture recurring issues and knowledge gaps to feed back to the project team.
  • Carry out other related support tasks as required.

Additional Details

  • Week 1 - one day online induction for engineers - 27/10/25 (30th or 31st).
  • 'Normal' work begins at 03/11/25.
  • There will be a pause in work from 08/12/25, resuming on 19/01/26.
