Aftersales Support TechnicianLocation: Bristol -Bradley Stoke, BS32Salary: £28,000 per annumHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - FridayContract: Full-time, Permanent - Immediate Start(Onsite role)About the RolePertemps Technical are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Aftersales telephone Support Technician to join their busy service team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing technical support and helping to maintain the highest quality standards across a range of coffee vending machines.This is a varied role combining customer service, technical support, spare parts coordination and continuous improvement activities.Key Responsibilities
  • Provide telephone and email support to customers, resolving technical queries and incidents
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues with vending machines
  • Process and manage spare parts requests, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Inspect, test, and analyse returned components, preparing detailed reports
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Microsoft Dynamics (SAP experience desirable)
  • Prepare and update technical documentation for internal teams and customers
  • Collaborate with Sales, Quality, R&D, and Production to support issue resolution
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, health & safety, and ISO standards
What We're Looking For
  • Understanding of basic electrical principles
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Strong IT skills (MS Office, MD Dynamics; SAP advantageous)
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement approach
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
  • Appliance/technical support background essential
