Endpoint EngineerBased: Warton, LancashireHourly Rate: £55.00 paye OR £74.263 Umbrella inside IR35Hours: 37 Hours per weekOnsite: HybridLength: 12 monthsBAE Systems are looking for a skilled Endpoint Administrator to join the End User Product Team. In this role, you'll manage and support our on-premise infrastructure and virtual desktop environment, ensuring secure and efficient access for users across the organisation.The Job
  • Managing Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and domain services
  • Supporting and maintaining VDI environments (Citrix/VMware), Thin Clients, and EDR tools
  • Administering end-user platforms including Exchange and SharePoint
  • Troubleshooting endpoint and infrastructure issues, ensuring uptime and performance
  • Supporting data protection, compliance, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Assisting in identity and access management service delivery
  • Contributing to digital transformation initiatives and ongoing product improvements
Skills
  • Experience in end-user or platform engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with VDI and endpoint security solutions
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Familiarity with M365 tools, Exchange, SharePoint, and cloud backup solutions
