IT Support Engineer x 21st / 2nd lineLocation: Onsite - Wellingborough area / NN10Salary: £30k plus benefits Rotating shift: AM 6:00 - 15:00 & PM 13:00 - 22:00 Our client is looking for two IT Support Engineers to join the team.Purpose of the role is to provide end user, site, business, and project IT support.
IT Support Engineer role - - Deal with general IT enquiries and support requests
- Provide support to Project Managers in the team to facilitate the delivery of IT related requirements
- Help facilitate technical upgrades
- Assist with site audits
- Work with the IT Services Teams to support any initiatives that require technical support
- Trouble-shoot any escalated technical issues, owning the issue through to resolution
- Understand the network topology to a level where support to the business can be provided
- Work with the IT Services Teams in building and maintaining IT Partner relationships
- Take part in team out of hours on-call rota (Optional)
- Provide support to the business with change process
- Assist as required in the Asset Management process
- Provide "best practise" Business Application support e.g. Google Apps, MS Office, to enable better use of the products within the business community.
- The role includes becoming a super-user for the WMS system, with full training provided.
IT Support Engineer skills & Experience- - IT Admin Skills
- Experience in a 1st / 2nd line IT Support role
- Strong planning, organising and time management skills
- Customer focus approach with good written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical, continuous improvement and Problem Solving mindset
