Test Engineer

Test Engineer Location: Rotherham Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Industry: Heavy Engineering / Manufacturing

We're looking for an experienced Test Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in the heavy engineering sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical or engineering background who enjoys hands-on testing, analysis, and continuous improvement in a production environment.

• Conduct testing and validation of seals, bearings, and related components

• Analyse test data and produce detailed reports on performance and durability

• Work closely with design and manufacturing teams to improve product quality and reliability

• Maintain and calibrate test rigs, instruments, and equipment

• Ensure all testing is carried out in line with engineering standards and safety protocols

• A strong engineering background, ideally within heavy industry or mechanical manufacturing

• Experience with test engineering, quality assurance, or product validation

• Good understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and failure analysis

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and reporting abilities
