We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineer on behalf of a global IT services client, to support a key secure site near Guildford, Hampshire. This is a hands-on role focused on providing technical support, asset and stock management, and hardware triage to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations.
*Due to the nature of the role, the successful candidate will have a valid UK SC Clearance prior to the start.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage queue tickets assigned to your hub and surrounding spokes, ensuring timely updates and SLA adherence.
Oversee hub stock control and asset management, including scanning kit in/out of locations.
Handle hardware repairs for in-warranty devices and liaise with vendors for parts and returns.
Coordinate disposals and ensure compliance with contractual processes.
Conduct locker replenishments as needed.
Identify and escalate potential service issues or improvement opportunities to the Team Leader.
Follow all site regulations and agreed internal procedures.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in a technical support or field engineering environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Confident communicator with a proactive, service-focused mindset.
Eligible and willing to work on-site in a secure MOD setting.
