Data Manager

Are you a data-driven professional ready to hit the ground running and drive school improvement? Do you have experience within the education sector? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for this interim school Data role!We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive School Data Manager to join our schools team on an interim basis for at least 2-3 months with immediate effect. This short-term role is ideal for a data-savvy professional ready to lead and optimise MIS systems to support student progress and school performance. The successful candidate will be available to start immediately and bring expertise in managing school data systems, particularly SIMS.Your new role

• Maintain and develop SIMS and associated software for tracking and analysis
• Ensure accurate data input and secure storage of student records
• Design systems for reporting on attainment, attendance, behaviour, and progress
• Provide staff training and support in data use
• Create marksheets, templates, and tailored reports
• Deliver clear data analysis to support school evaluation and improvement plans
• Support intervention tracking and monitor key student groups.
• Ensure GDPR compliance and data security

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience managing SIMS and other school data systems.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability.
• Up-to-date knowledge of education sector data requirements and accountability measures.
• The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
• Immediate availability and flexibility to commit to a 2-3 month interim contract.
