Rate - £600 per day - Inside IR35Start - Immediately - Must be able to start within one week of offer - this is mandatoryBusiness Change Manager to support one of our most important IT Programmes M365 Tenancy Migrations within Group.This is a senior role working in lockstep with the multiple IT Project Managers, to ensure business readiness for doing a staggered switch out of circa 2000 laptops and tablet devices in preparation for a migration of M365 workload (email, OneDrive, SharePoint, PowerApps and teams) into the core tenant.Must have delivery experience and have led multi-site large scale IT rollouts (and needs to have done this a few times).

Essential experience & skills:10+ years' change management experience with demonstrable delivery on large IT migrations or roll-outs (M365 migrations, device deployments, desktop refresh programmes).Solid understanding of M365 workloads (Exchange/Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams) and device management concepts (Intune/Autopilot, imaging/provisioning) - technical hands-on knowledge desirable but not mandatory.Overview of role:Lead and deliver the organisational change activities required for a multi-division M365 migration and large-scale device deployment. Ensure business readiness, user adoption and benefits realisation by translating technical plans into actionable change activities (communications, training, adoption, cutover readiness) and coordinating across IT, service owners, HR, communications and service desk teams.Key responsibilities

  • Lead change planning: develop and maintain a programme-level change plan aligned to migration waves, device deployment schedules and cutover windows.
  • Stakeholder management: create and maintain stakeholder maps, run impact assessments, secure executive sponsorship and maintain regular briefing for sponsors and programme boards.
  • Readiness & adoption: conduct readiness assessments, define target state behaviours, design adoption interventions (training, champions, job aids, roadshows, FAQs).
  • Communications: own the business communications plan and collaborate with corporate comms to deliver timely, role-based messages and change narratives.
  • Training & support: design training needs analysis, co-ordinate classroom/virtual sessions, e-learning, and create post-go-live support models with service desk and local super-users.
  • Pilot & cutover: manage business side of pilots, capture feedback, run dress rehearsals and declare business readiness for each wave; coordinate cutover activities and contingency plans.
  • Device lifecycle change: shape business processes for device provisioning, enrolment (Autopilot/MDM), secure configuration, user onboarding, and device refresh or return processes.
  • Benefits & metrics: define adoption metrics and dashboards (adoption rates, licence usage, service desk volumes, user satisfaction), report progress and risks to senior stakeholders.
  • People & supplier coordination: work with programme leads, vendors, suppliers and HR to ensure resources, role allocations and competency frameworks are in place.
  • Assurance & lessons learned: ensure change artefacts meet quality standards, run post-implementation reviews and embed lessons learned into subsequent waves.

Essential experience & skills:

  • 10+ years' change management experience with demonstrable delivery on large IT migrations or roll-outs (M365 migrations, device deployments, desktop refresh programmes).
  • Strong track record managing change across multiple business units and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement at senior levels and ability to influence technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience developing training, communications and adoption programmes for end users and managers.
  • Familiar with change frameworks and techniques (ADKAR, Prosci, stakeholder analysis, TNA, benefits realisation).
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and workshop design skills.
  • Strong affinity for metrics and reporting - able to define and track adoption KPIs.
