What will you be doing?

In this pivotal role, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of security system projects, ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and client satisfaction. You'll coordinate teams, manage budgets, and deliver projects on time and within scope while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include: Managing security system projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within time, scope, and budget. Creating and maintaining project schedules, risk registers, and resource plans. Acting as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations, and providing regular progress updates. Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to achieve seamless delivery. Ensuring compliance with NCP 104/109, PD6662, CDM regulations, and company policies. Maintaining detailed project documentation, including RAMS, commissioning sheets, and O&M manuals. Overseeing project finances, cost control, and applications for payment. Supporting business development with technical input during bids and proposals.

What will you need?

  • 3-5 years' experience managing security system projects (CCTV, access control, intruder detection, etc.). Strong knowledge of Health & Safety, CDM regulations, and site compliance. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Financial and commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and costs. Technical understanding of integrated security systems (Gallagher, Genetec, Lenel, CCure, Axis, Bosch, etc.). Proficiency in project management tools and software. ECS Black Card (or equivalent). Relevant certifications (FIA, Tavcom, NSI, SSAIB). A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

What would be desirable?

  • Experience managing multi-site or large-scale security installations. Background in both design and implementation of integrated systems. Ability to mentor junior team members and promote best practice. Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
