The purpose of this new exciting opportunity is to achieve sales targets based on strategic business requirements through a mix of new and existing business. Support team members with coaching and performance management
- Responsibilities:
- To build and develop relationships with new, lapsed and specified existing clients
- Face-to-face meetings to understand clients' needs in order to create the right solution
- Achieve targets set by the business; financial, opportunity management, activities
- Build and maintain a pipeline of customer opportunities to ensure continued success
- Ensure client contact details are up to date using CRM system
- Keeping up to date with key market insight and changes within the industry
- Actively promote new service offerings to clients.
- Help with continued development of client journey improvements
- Assist in arranging client entertainment when & where required
Knowledge and Experience:
- Strong sales & customer service skills to effectively interact with people across cultures and countries
- An effective communicator both written and verbally
- Strong Microsoft skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Highly organised in order to achieve goals in a timely manner
- Knowledge of supplier service offerings and changes in market conditions
Previous experience using CRM systems within a similar role in Logistics or Freight is essential
