Senior Product Manager - Conversational AI/GenAI products
My global banking client, based in London, is looking for a Senior Product Manager on a contract basis.
The Senior Product Manager will have an excellent understanding of how Conversational Banking channels can both drive customer satisfaction and reduce cost. The Product Owner will be responsible for adopting the Future State AI bot solutions (chat and voice) and growing customer adoption of Conversational Banking channels, and increasing the level of automation through traditional and generative AI.
12 month contract, paying £715 per day. Hybrid working model in their London office.
Key skills:
- Experience working as a Senior Product Manager within a bank
- Extensive experience in Conversational AI/GenAI products, particularly in banking or fintech
- Strong background in chat, messaging and Conversational AI products.
- Skilled in global/regional roles, building relationships and delivering results across diverse cultures and stakeholder groups.
- A passion to improve customer experiences and drive efficiency through Conversational solutions.
- Strong strategic and leadership ability: setting direction across markets, customer segments, and channels; influencing teams without direct authority.
- Deep expertise in digital product life cycle - from opportunity identification and business cases to deployment, launch, and performance management.
- Proficient in SAFe methodology, ensuring clear priorities, accurate estimation, and management of dependencies within quarterly planning cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Owns the end-to-end design, build, and operation of digital customer experience journeys for conversational banking channels, working in cross-functional agile teams.
- Manages the full product life cycle, including product ownership, backlog prioritization, and continuous alignment with customer needs, business goals, and market trends.
- Applies both predictive and agile methodologies to product development, leveraging research, data, and feedback to identify opportunities and anticipate future needs.
- Collaborates across customer and product value streams to shape strategy, deliver chatbot-enabled journeys, and drive customer satisfaction while reducing costs.
- Help drive elements of the Conversational banking Product strategy,
- Ensures compliance with group standards, regulatory requirements, and operational risk considerations, while upholding principles of fair customer treatment.
