IT Field Engineer

Job Title: Field Engineer - NorthamptonSalary: £25,000 - £30,000Location: Northampton

We are looking for an adaptable Field Engineer to provide on-site IT support across a busy organisation in Northampton. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, solving technical challenges, and values a strong work-life balance with the added benefit of time off during holiday periods.

• Deliver hands-on support for hardware, software, and networking issues

• Support Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, O365, and Intune

• Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices and systems

• Carry out routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting

• Provide a professional and approachable service to end users

• Previous experience in IT support or field engineering

• Good understanding of Microsoft environments (Windows Server, O365, Intune, Active Directory)

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage priorities

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

• Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)

• Work aligned to term-time schedule with holiday periods off
