Software Engineer

Software Engineer 6 Month Contract Outside IR35 £350-450 p/day

We're looking for a versatile Software Engineer to join a leading Bristol-based business, delivering high-quality solutions for clients across finance, e-commerce, and technology. This is a hands-on role where you'll work across the full stack. Back-end services in C#/.NET and Python, and dynamic front-end applications using JavaScript, React, Node.js, and TypeScript.

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

Contract: 6 Months (OIR35)

Rate: £350-450 p/day

Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain software using C#/.NET, Python, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and TypeScript
• Develop and optimise APIs, services, and integration layers.
• Deliver end-to-end features across back-end, front-end, and cloud-hosted environments.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Contribute to code reviews, testing, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application-level performance and reliability issues.

Key Skills:

• Commercial experience with C#/.NET, Python, JavaScript/React.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and modern full-stack development.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid grounding in software engineering best practices - testing, design patterns, version control (Git).
• Agile team experience with strong communication and collaboration skills.
