Outstanding contract opportunity to join this global, market leading, B2B SaaS tech business as a Senior MySQL DBA. This business is embracing AI powered software engineering and bleeding edge development practices and offers the opportunity to help them to evolve their environment.

We're looking for a Senior DBA with deep MySQL and AWS Aurora expertise to join this fast-paced programme. You'll require the following skills and experience:

• Deep DBA expertise with MySQL and AWS Aurora
• Experience upgrading MySQL Aurora 2 to MySQL Aurora 3
• Proven track record of query optimisation, schema tuning and indexing strategies in production environments
• Expertise with cloud native databases and performance optimisation in AWS
• Extensive experience of database monitoring, profiling and troubleshooting tools
• Hands on experience with large scale database upgrades and migrations
• Outstanding communications skills and proven ability to collaborate with engineers, product managers and cloud ops teams
• Ability to start within 2 weeks

£500-525 per day, OUTSIDE IR35. 7 months. 100% remote
