SAP ABAP Development Consultant
Whitehall Resources require an SAP ABAP Development Consultant to work with a key client on an initial 6 month contract.
*This role will involve onsite work in Cheshire, roughly once per week, and some EU travel throughout the project.
*Inside IR35.
*Candidates are required to be eligible for SC clearance.
SAP ABAP Development Consultant
Summary
1) Must have SC clearance (or being able to attain SC)
2) proven, hands on SAP ABAP Consultant with multiple FULL Lifecycle experience and ability to work unsupervised using the latest SAP technologies, including S/4HANA, CDS Views, Gateway and Adobe Forms.
Role
1) Helping to deliver SAP solutions with our clients, on client sites
2) Ensuring quality delivery of our solutions
3) Helping to influence (with the rest of the technical team in the UK) key reference projects
4) Ability to work well with our technical & functional capabilities
Skills Required
1) Experience of implementing Clean Core ABAP Programming, CDS Views, FIORI Element reports & Adobe Forms.
2) Experience with a selection of other development objects, for example Function Modules, Data dictionary objects, BADI, BAPI, User-Exits, Web Services Gateway, Data Services, CDS Views, ABAP for HANA, Forms, Reports or performance tuning is advantageous
3) Experience of SAP PO/PI is useful
4) Strong customer focus with good client facing consulting capability as roles are working collaboratively with our clients, and on behalf of our clients with their suppliers
5) Perform testing of system changes and to assist in user testing of changes
6) Participate in knowledge sharing with colleagues in SAP technical and related client business matters
7) Playing an active part in Process Improvement, ensuring compliance with all relevant quality processes and procedures, including completion of all the specified quality records
