Overview

My client is looking for an experienced Network Consultant to take the lead on end-to-end project delivery, provide expert technical support, and act as a trusted advisor to clients. This is a hands-on role that combines design, implementation, troubleshooting, and mentoring, with responsibility for driving successful project outcomes and resolving complex technical challenges.

Contract Details:

Duration: 6 months (Long term program)
Day Rate: Outside IR35
Location: Glasgow/Aberdeen/Edinburgh - Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through the full life cycle, from design to implementation.
• Own and resolve technical issues, ensuring root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Deliver engineering services, including low-level design, implementation, and consultancy.
• Serve as an escalation point for advanced network and security incidents.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and security problems quickly and effectively

Requirements

• Strong experience in network and security engineering roles.
• Proven Cisco experience
• Proven ability to design, implement, and support complex solutions.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving advanced technical issues.
• Background in delivering consultancy and project-based services.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to mentor and support others.
