We are seeking a skilled and motivated Database Administrator (DBA) to join and manage our new Data team including a Junior Database Administrator. The role will include taking the lead with data quality and integrity, identifying issues and their causes, resolving data and process issues, and steering data cleansing activities across a diverse workforce.
The ideal candidate will have experience of managing data and databases within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Dynamics, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Azure Data Warehouse. Additionally, the candidate will be skilled in using SQL and Power BI to create detailed reports and dashboards for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities

Assisting teams in analysing data to support business decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality requirements are met and conduct regular data quality assessments to track improvements.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Database Administrator or Data Analyst.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Azure Data Warehouse.
High level of skills in Power BI to include Dashboards and Executive reporting.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
Experience with database performance tuning and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities of Senior Solution Architect role will include:
•Lead Technical Development Projects across the Portfolio Initiatives
•Planning & Decision Making in Programme / Projects & Services
•Establish Strong Relationships with Business Units & Customer Groups to Develop Understanding of Business Priorities
•Assess & Review Architecture Work in Programme / Projects / Services & their Strategic Aspects
•Use Specialist Knowledge & Understanding of Supported Business Areas to Drive Solutions to Issues & Challenges Faced By Customers
•Lead & Develop Solution Architecture Capability (Methods, Processes & Best Practices etc)
•Lead Solution Evaluation & Selection Decisions, Project Estimations, Creation of Business Cases
•Lead Architecture & Design of Solutions for Business Units that Meet Business Requirements Aligned to Enterprise Architecture
•Innovate & Test New Technologies Relevant to Business Units & Portfolio, including POCs, Assessments & Business Case Development
•Ensure Architecture Decisions Support Both Business & IT Strategy & Compliant with Standards & Roadmaps
•Guide Architects, Engineers & Third Party Suppliers) in Development & Documentation of IT Architectures for Complex Business Critical Projects
•Support Business Analysis & Business Process Analysis as part of Solution Design Process
Key Skills & Experience of Solutions Architect Required:
•Strong Solution Architecture experience, ideally in either Financial or Development Domains
•Able to Produce Technical Solution Documentation & Assessments
•Enterprise Architecture Skills: Use Case Modeling, Business Process Modeling, Technical Requirements Definition, Service Design, System Design, Solution Design, Benefits Analysis, etc
•Experience in System Performance & Load Testing & Trouble Shooting
•Experience with AGILE Development Methodologies & Tools
•Experience in working with External Suppliers
•Excellent Influencing & Innovation & Collaborative Skills
•Ability to Make Decisions Under Pressure
•Ability to Shape & Drive Strategies & Plans
•Self-Starter with Drive, Energy, Resilience
