Product Owner

Product Owner Location: Cambridgeshire Salary: £50K–£65K A growing technology team based in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Product Owner to support the development of innovative communication solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on AWS and Windows-based applications, contributing to complex software products used by clients across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities: * Own and manage the product backlog for one or more SCRUM teams. * Represent product requirements during Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Project Managers to prioritise work and resolve issues. * Define detailed functionality and user stories, working with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders. * Document product features and disseminate information across departments. * Support roadmap planning and feature prioritisation. * Act as a product expert to assist teams in understanding dependencies and functionality. Ideal Candidate: * Strong technical background with experience in software tools and application development. * Clear communicator who can tailor messaging to varied audiences. * Critical thinker with good time management and problem-solving skills. * Able to evaluate trade-offs between functionality and development effort. Preferred Skills & Experience: * Experience with AWS/Azure, Windows, Linux * Proficiency in Java, C#, C, or C++ * Familiarity with APIs, virtualisation, cloud environments, and Agile workflows * Requirements gathering, use case definition, and writing functional specifications * Desirable: exposure to Android, Bluetooth, USB, Wi-Fi, GPS technologies Additional Info: * Occasional travel may be required; a full driving licence and access to a car is desirable. * Candidates must be eligible for SC security clearance
