The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the EMEA data network infrastructure, firewalls, and all other aspects of network systems support.

-Maintaining / Monitoring Network Performance
-Troubleshooting a multi protocol system network

-Install / Maintain Firewall (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco FWSM Firewall Configuration)
-Threat Defence and Threat Defence Architectures
-Troubleshooting, Monitoring and Reporting Tools
-Security Architectures
-Network Address Translation
-VPN Technologies
-Authentication
-Maintain network services (Circuit Carriers, Vendors)
-Network diagrams and documentation
-Ownership of Network Incidents (Troubleshooting, Resolutions, Liase with Users, Internal Teams, Vendors)
-Assist with support / maintenance of Network System Support duties (voice, desk/office moves, cabling)
The successful candidate should hold the Cisco CCNP certification. Other certifications / qualifications that would be suitable include Cisco CCSP, Checkpoint CCSE, Palo Alto ACE.
The candidate should be qualified in Cisco CCNP. Experience within the banking sector (preferably EMEA) is also admirable. This role would suit candidates with the following job titles; Senior Network Systems Support Engineer, Networking Support, Network Support Engineer, Network Data Systems Engineer, Network Systems Support Engineer / Analyst, Networking Specialist, Cisco Network Support, Cisco Network Systems Support Engineer.
