The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Innovation Manager to join the growing Digital, Tech and Innovation team at London Sport. The role sits within the Impact & Innovation directorate and will be responsible for developing new initiatives to reduce inactivity. You will be at the forefront of testing and learning, turning our insight into action. The role is fast paced and will work quickly to identify opportunities that have the biggest impact.

The Role The role will be focused on delivering new features into our Social Casino Games. You will be the Product Owner for our scrum team based in London, reporting directly to the Product Director you will be responsible for defining features for our game/application based on business needs, writing/drawing up specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria and then working with the scrum team to deliver the product features to the defined specifications. Responsibilities ● You will be a Designer on a long term project to design a full suite of gambling products, including responsive websites, desktop applications and native apps. ● You will be one of the lead designers on the project and will be responsible for all designs produced. ● You will work closely with the Design Director and will have regular design reviews and meetings to come up with creative solutions for different products. ● Following Degree 53’s design process you will sketch out solutions to complex problems, storyboard user journeys, producing ideas and concepts, produce high fidelity wireframes and prototype & test visual designs. ● You will be a key influence in advising on UX & Design best practices. ● You will work closely with a dedicated team from different departments to ensure the final products are delivered to a high standard and to agreed timescales. ● You will also carry out a full handover of final, signed-off designs to the development team and carry out regular design reviews with them to make sure the final product is pixel perfect and to the highest quality. ● You will be creating and continually enhancing these products over time and finding new and innovative ways of improving various features. ● You will carry out research, competitor analysis, data analysis and user testing to aid design decisions. You will have excellent attention to detail. The skills you should have
All of our designs are built within Sketch so we’re looking for someone with at least 2 years experience using this tool and someone who can confidently use features such as creating nested symbols, using different plug-ins, adhering to colour palettes and style guides and naming layers and groups with correct terminology. ● Experience with using the Adobe CC Suite is also needed. The main tools we use are Photoshop and Illustrator so being able to use these also is a must in case any visual non-UI work needs creating, such as icons, banners etc. ● Excellent knowledge and experience in responsive web design and UX design (including research, wireframing and prototyping) ● Mobile app design experience e.g. iOS, Android etc. is desirable. ● Previous experience designing products that handle lots of data is a must. ● Ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment is necessary throughout this role. ● Good technical understanding with the ability to pick up new tools quickly. ● Love working as part of a team and collaborating with developers, project managers, testers etc. Communication is key to delivering the best products. ● A good understanding of front-end web development (HTML & CSS). Detailed Description
* · To assist in the planning, design, implementation, and support of Wintel Server platforms
* · Install, configure and maintain windows server 2008R2 / 2012.
* · Take ownership of 3rd Line IT support issues
* · Maintaining the integrity and availability of the Infrastructure
* · Provide technical support for projects as directed
* · Responsibility for Data Centre environment: testing, server builds, deployment
* · Assist in patch management and application packaging
* · Perform critical system changes outside of business hours
* · Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements to existing processes and for automation of time consuming tasks
* · Author policy, procedure and standards documents based on industry best practices and personal research and experience
* · Perform other duties as assigned
* · Understands and promotes policy on Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).
* · To ensure ongoing adherence to all relevant compliance regulations and complete all regulatory knowledge training where applicable in a timely fashion
* Some after-hours work and periodic 24x7 on call support will be required.
Job Requirements
* Enterprise / extensive experience of VMware ESXi 5.5 or V6 and Virtual Centre (ideally VCP certified)
* Hands on experience and knowledge of Snapshot backup technology.
* Virtual server troubleshooting i.e. performance impact, virtual disk expansion etc.
* Monitor server performance, capacity and utilization
* Troubleshoot break/fix issues and respond to service requests on these technologies.
* Knowledge of VMware templates and cloning.
* Good Knowledge of VMWare Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
* Knowledge and experience of Storage protocols like (NFS, FCoE, CIFS, etc )
* Good understanding of SAN storage in VMware environment.
* Knowledge of VDI / Horizon View, Citrix, HP Server/ Blade/ Cluster technologies.
* Experience with scripting in a Windows environment (e.g. PowerShell and VBScript)
* Support the implementation of VMware hardware and operating systems solutions below
