Lead Developer A software house specialising in producing innovative software used within the animal health sector are looking for a Lead Developer to set up a new team and work on a greenfield development project to build an pharma web-shop. It's a greenfield development project where you'll be responsible from inception through to delivery. It's currently in discovery stage with the design team but when you're ready you'll be handed the specification and will take over the reins. You'll have authority to choose your particular tech / tools for the job and build a team too, all whilst being hands-on with the development too. Your team will operate separately from the existing development team so you'll need to be comfortable working under your own direction and eventually as you grow your team, moving into a managerial capacity too. You're not completely alone, you'll be supported by the Head of Software and Technology and will pull on the resources of the internal development team and software Architects until you create a team of your own. It's a role where there isn't the time to grow into it so prior development experience across C#, Asp.Net MVC, Angular or React and an appreciation of other tech to choose the best tool for the job is needed. You'll also need to have experience of leading (in some way) a development project from inception through to delivery so you'll understand the pain points and what needs your focus. Currently all staff are working remotely; ideally they hope to return to the office when it is convenient, however a blend of remote working will be considered if needed. Don't miss the opportunity to work on a new project and build your own team; apply now. Lead Developer
