Job Title: Salesforce Solution Architect
Location: London
Duration: 6 months contract

Solution Architect (Salesforce)
As a Salesforce Architect you will be the lead within a business area that has true customer and colleague impacts. Your architectural designs will change their banking and working lives for the better through technical designs that are truly based on experiences. You will create an architectural vision in keeping with the business providing a technical solution for customer and colleagues. You will own the technical solution and provide an end to end assurance that satisfies business needs.

You will be the technology expert to whom that business area trusts to realise their aspirations as to how they can best drive their business forward in helping our customers
Challenging the status quo when necessary; new thinking is welcomed and applauded
Providing a fresh perspective that not only protects the brand but also re-energises Barclays as a bank with technology at its heart
Collaborating continuously with a team of like-minded architects, encouraging each other to find the right technology solutions for the business areas
Setting new standards when developing state of the art technical architectural solutions to satisfy often complex business needs
Bringing your real world architectural experience and knowledge to provide outstanding designs

What we're looking for:
Demonstrable experience of complex Salesforce environments
Experience of shaping and defining solutions across disparate technologies that enable you to resolve a complex business issue with a simple and cost effective solution
Expertise in at least one or more technologies used by the bank, specifically Salesforce or Cloud technology
Ability to exhibit deep technical underst anding conveyed through crisp solution design walkthroughs

.*Extra note from Client* Please Evaluate GOOD Snr. Salesforce Developers who have not branded themselves as Architects in their resume. You will find lot of good fit out there and within your commercial window. Also, if you can find someone who is an True architect for the rate window - all good as well.

Skills that will help you in the role:
Salesforce certification - Application or System architect
AWS Solution Architect certification foundation level or higher eg Associate level, is highly desirable
Application/Infrastructure/Enterprise Architect training and certification, eg TOGAF
Exposure to API design strategies both for internal and external customer usage
