Key Strategic Skills Requirements

We are seeking a new Board member to join our experienced Board and highly skilled executives. We are looking for someone who shares our values and can bring with them commercial finance and accounting skills - preferably a qualified accountant - to join our Audit and Assurance Committee

Experience in the housing sector is desirable, however, we welcome applications from those with relevant experience and/or qualifications outside the sector and from those with particular strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to inspire and engage.

The minimum requirement will be on average one day per month to attend meetings, mostly held remotely via MS Teams, with attendance at our Head Office around 3-4 times a year, with approximately a further 1-2 days of meeting preparation per month.

There would also be commitment to CPD through conferences, training and workshops.
