Senior Manager - Data Privacy and Security

My client, a global telecommunications business, are seeking a Senior Data Privacy & Security Manager to join their team on a hybrid basis in London or Reading.

Reporting in to the Head of Data Architecture, you will help provide oversight and direction for implementing security policies and compliance with respect to data security & protection and other data handling standards.

You will perform reviews of Data platforms based on-premises & cloud, cloud-based applications, and data security for solutions, ensuring changes are compliant with policies and standards, and the right security controls are applied to applications to keep data secure. In collaboration with the enterprise Architects and Data Solution Architects you will produce secure standards for cloud services/products that require approval for use and follow the necessary governance processes.

Key skills required include -

. Data privacy legislation and data compliance standards- GDPR, SOX
. Specific experience of the deployment and support of security products within Cloud based environment (pref GCP) and other security and compliance stacks.
. Cyber Security in Cloud security technologies
. Data governance and platform security knowledge
. Google Cloud Platform security solutions is mandatory
. Metadata tools

Knowledge on Telecommunications industry specific regulations like EECC is desirable but not essential.
