Salary: Starting at £50,000 negotiable plus benefits

Location: Hybrid Remote with occasional client travel to Bristol, York or London

My client is a global leader in digital transformation and is looking for an Automated Test Analyst to help with the Accessibility testing of complex public sector projects. This role would be perfect for someone that has experience with automated testing in the public sector but would like the variety of working on different products across different organisations. If you have experience in automated testing in JavaScript and Selenium in a GDS environment this may be the perfect role for you. By working as a consultant this role would help to design the future of the information space.

You will be working with project teams from an expanding area of the business that manages, improves, and maintains custom applications or packaged software by infusing smart automation & robotics, the usage of Agile and DevOps methodologies, and a drive towards continuous delivery & deployment. You would have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the public and private defence sectors, in which you would manage the communications to a wide number of stakeholders.

This is a permanent role that will require the successful applicant to apply for security clearance. Visa sponsorship is not provided for this role.

Essential Requirements

• Delivery of automated testing in Selenium/JavaScript with JEST & Playwright frameworks.
• Previous experience of an Agile public sector or GDS environment.
• Web browser testing including APEX 4/5, IE8/IE11 & Chrome scripts compatibility.
• Must have knowledge of API Testing/Web Services Testing using SoapUI 5.x.x.
• Ability to write test plans, test reports, test strategies, and user guides.

Nice to have

• Experience and knowledge in using other tools e.g. Selenium, TestNG, ANT, Eclipse, WinSCP, Beyond Compare, and Putty.
• Experience with Accessibility testing using Wave/Axe plug-ins in an automation framework.
• Proficiency and demonstrable experience in the use of MS Team Foundation Server and JIRA.
• ISTQB Foundation or equivalent is required and ISTQB Advanced Recommended.
• Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills in an intercultural environment.
