Key Responsibilities:

• Design System Evolution: Be the architect of our new design system, orchestrating guidelines, patterns, and data visualizations. Forge a system that echoes our brand and supports versatile user interactions.
• Polished UI Designs: Collaborate seamlessly with UX designers to transform wireframes and prototypes into captivating, userfriendly UI designs.
• Continuous Refinement: Elevate the design system using user feedback, data insights, and emerging trends. Advocate for its adoption and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Inclusivity Champion: Uphold accessibility best practices, ensuring our products resonate with all users.
• Collaboration Extraordinaire: Partner closely with diverse teams, conveying design decisions with clarity. Enhance design quality by offering constructive feedback during design reviews.

Your Skills:

• A mastery of UI design principles, color theory, typography, and layout design.
• Proven experience crafting and maintaining design systems, style guides, and component libraries, including data visualizations.
• A solid foundation in user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and their integration into UI designs.
• Proficiency in Figma and design system tools like Storybook.
• Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for effective collaboration.
• A collaborative spirit, thriving in partnerships with UX designers, product managers, and developers.
• A keen eye for detail, meticulously preserving consistency and pixel-perfection throughout the design system.
• Innovative mindset, driven to explore new design trends, techniques, and tools to elevate the design system and overall product experience.

Additional Information and Compensation:

• Pay: £430 - £480 per day (Umbrella)
• Contract: Initial 4-month contract
• Location: Central London office presence required once a week
