Our client, a leading global insurance company, is seeking a skilled Python Developer to join their Actuarial team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to enhance and optimise their rating platform while collaborating with experienced actuaries and underwriters.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including actuaries and underwriters, to enhance the rating platform.
• Utilise Python skills to optimise the functionality of the platform.
• Integrate the rating platform with the existing underwriting system using APIs for seamless data management.
• Capture and analyse comprehensive information from submissions to drive data-driven insights.
• Provide technical guidance, support, and expertise to stakeholders throughout the development process.

Experience:

• Strong proficiency in Python development with a track record of delivering high-quality code.
• Experience in the insurance industry or familiarity with actuarial concepts
• Knowledge of rating platforms or underwriting systems is advantageous.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders

This is a permanent position paying up to £110,000 per annum + bonus & benefits, hybrid working is also available.
