We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Agile Programme Manager to join our DWP Digital community.

We're delivering a once in a generation transformation of public services. You will work with multiple suppliers to support and manage complex commercial relationships, and work with multiple delivery teams full of the UK's best tech talent.

You'll be working on our Digital Health and Disability programme.

As our Senior Agile Programme Manager you will work really closely Lead Delivery Manager to support the objectives our of Health & Disability portfolio. That includes hugely important areas of work like Personal Independence Payments (PIP).

You'll lead on the co-creation of Statements of Work for supplier teams with Delivery Managers and Supplier Management.

You will work with Supplier and Business Management teams to ensure service, headcount, budget and commercial vehicles are in where they need to be.

You will support teams in the use of JIRA and Confluence in ways which assure both value delivery and appropriate reporting.

This includes encouraging consistency or compliance with appropriate standards, making sure programme artefacts are complete, up to date and available.

You'll support our Delivery Managers with ongoing delivery planning activities, ensuring we're working from complete and meaningful consolidated plan

And when we need to engage new suppliers and bring in new tools, you will lead on the creation of commercial requirements.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • Experience of agile and lean practices- helping high performing teams to continuously improve
  • Share information and setting standards for other teams, using tooling such as Atlassian suite and Mural.
  • You will have experience of: digital funding models, drafting contracts / statements of work, cost models, resourcing, and budget management in line with best practice.
  • Ability to build relationships with a broad range of teams and individuals including: business management, supplier management, technical teams, product managers, senior stakeholders and third-party sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Communicating with others in a clear, honest and enthusiastic way in order to build trust.
  • Experience working with multiple suppliers to support and manage complex commercial relationships
  • You're able to lead a continual planning process (coping with rapid reprioritisation) in a complex environment.
  • You can identify and manage risks and dependencies in plans across services and coordinate delivery.And onward reporting at Sprint level to support Programme level reporting.
