JavaScript Developer / Software Developer key responsibilities:
- Software Development - design, development, documentation, release and maintenance of software components
- Technical Advice - assist our professional services and support team with technical questions around the use of our products
- Grow your knowledge - keep up to date with changes to developer technologies and continually learn and grow your knowledge of ArcGIS, so that you hone your developer skills and progress
This would be a great career move if you:
- Are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about writing code, ideally with some commercial experience working with technologies such as JavaScript, React, Angular, Typescript, HTML/ CSS, Python and C#, and a good understanding of how web technology works
- Are passionate about crafting and improving web-based editing solutions specifically designed for mapping and catering for a diverse global audience
- Have an understanding of REST APIs and developing software to interact with them
- Would like to develop a career working with the latest mapping, geospatial, cloud and web technologies
- Have some knowledge of automation, code management and deployment technologies such as Git, Azure DevOps, Notebooks and Serverless
- Essential - UK based with entitlement to work full time in the UK
- Ideally - educated to Degree level in Computer Science, GIS or similar. Keen to use your developer skills to solve real-world problems. Some knowledge of ArcGIS is desirable but not essential.
