Communications Lead

We are seeking a Communications Lead to join a well-known fashion retail client on a contract basis for 6 months. This role has been deemed Outside IR35.

This role is an opportunity to join a client that is on a journey of digital and business transformation and are investing heavily to ensure future success of their brand.

The aim is to provide delivery of internal communications on behalf of the tech programme, with ownership of the overall Communications strategy and plan - encompassing internal and external communications using a range of methods to ensure that messages are crafted and delivered in the most effective way possible.

• Define and execute a communication strategy and plan for the overall programme
• Responsible for crafting and delivering all programme communications - both internally and externally
• Supports employee engagement initiatives and communications across the various stakeholder groups
• Co-ordinate's timing of communications ensuring a consistent message
• Ensure there is consistent use of messages and terminology across all programme communications
• Ensure compliance with HR, Internal and External PR strategies
• Ensure communications are planned, signed off and executed according to the overarching communications strategy

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels, both internally and externally
• Solid understanding of both the organisational functions and the aims of the transformation programme
• A good understanding of the overall business corporate strategy
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to create content for a variety of channels
