Your New Role

Working as part of a managed service team, you'll be responsible for providing REPL and their customers first-rate support for public and private cloud hosted platforms. You'll be involved in:
  • Administration of public cloud hosted environments and associated network technologies
  • Certificate management
  • Deployment of Infrastructure as code (IAC).
  • Patch and security management.
  • Monitoring and maintain live services to ensure service availability.
  • Defining, managing and maintaining security best practices for hosted solutions ensuring GDPR and ISO requirements etc are met.
  • Defining, managing and maintaining cloud Backup and DR strategies.
  • Delivery of public and private cloud hosted infrastructure projects

Qualifications

What we're looking for in you:
  • Proven technical experience in Microsoft Azure transformation, configuration and implementation (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS).
  • Experience of other cloud technologies such as Amazon AWS or Google Cloud platform would be advantageous.
  • Administration and support of Hyper-V virtualised environments.
  • Exposure to DevOps Automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible and ARM scripting
  • A proven approach to implementing and maintaining security best practices.
  • Working knowledge Containerisation technologies (e.g. Kubernetes / Docker)
  • Identity management (e.g. MS Active Directory / Azure Active Directory)
  • Provision, support and administration of both Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • MS SQL / Oracle DB experience would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrable approach to Security and Compliance management
  • Scripting experience e.g. bash / Powershell
  • Good understanding of Network topologies(firewalls, load balancing l4/l7)
  • Experience of working using an ITIL framework
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodology
  • Knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Development) concepts, methodologies and tools
  • Good communication skills, able to manage/escalate issues with other teams.
  • Knowledge of warehouse/workforce technologies is desirable but not essential.
