Selected candidates will work on Application Security projects and deliver services to global and leading companies specific to DevSecOps opportunities in a range of markets. These activities will include capability assessment, tool deployment, configuration and operating of tools as well as the advisory and support of existing client implementations at various stages of maturity.
The role will also include supporting RFPs and client presentations in a team that is growing and maturing rapidly. This will lead to the opportunity to shape the growth of this space, bring innovations to the practice, and take on opportunities to further grow skills that will bring unique and essential PoVs to the business.
A bachelor's degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems or similar disciple is essential. Existing experience in the industry related to DevSecOps or other security related work is desirable. Experience and understanding of SAST and DAST tools is preferred in some form.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients, including senior stakeholders, to advise and aid implement DevSecOps processes and tools to new and existing pipelines or in progress implementation
- Define secure software development lifecycle for large scale projects and teams
- Design and implement secure software development lifecycle solutions based on various tools
- Conduct analysis of security findings and support any security testing requirements to help prove a pipeline implementation, including performing risk analysis and identification of false positives
- Contribute to tool evaluations, selection and recommendations both internally and for clients
- Mentor client teams, including senior stakeholders, in the criticality of security in the movement to DevOps/DevSecOps
- Work with global teams to aid in the growing of our DevSecOps and Managed AppSec presence
- Coordinate with construction of labs and PoCs to improve project and service delivery
- Develop new assets and undertake R&D for the DevSecOps community either for innovation to take to clients as part of client engagements, as well as internal and partner work, to grow the practice (including RFP/I)
- Training client teams on DevOps, DevSecOps, Agile best practices
Skills and Experience
- Strong knowledge of some or all the following, DevOps, DevSecOps, SAST, DAST, IAST, ideally with hands on experience with at least two years in relevant tooling such as Jenkins, Selenium or SonarQube
- Experience of management, definition, and implementation of security in the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Understanding of virtualisation and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes as well as micro-services would be beneficial
- Practical experience of cloud technologies
- Practice experience of other development approaches (e.g. agile / scrum)
- Some development/scripting experience
- The ability to work well with various teams
- Excellent project management and client facing communication skills
- The ability to map customer requirements to service offerings, communicating as such with C-level client executives and assisting the opportunity through the sales cycle
- Flexible, self-motivated, client focused and will have a 'can do' attitude
- The ability to be methodical, well organized and detail orientated about all aspects of work

Mandatory Pre-requisite
SC clearance is mandatory. The criteria for SC clearance is all candidates that are considered must have been a UK resident for a minimum of 5 years with no long periods outside of the UK.
