What you ll be doing
You ll join our highly motivated, state of the art and forward thinking Technology team, participating in the innovation and delivery of technology that support Brit s digital objectives. You ll will translate business needs and functional designs into functioning software or technology designs and deliver/develop common foundation architecture components that conform to known successful patterns, and that support evolution toward the future-state architecture. In some instances, you will join team looking to disrupt the market with leading edge technology solutions.
A day in the life
Your cloud-first Azure technical abilities will shine in analysing enterprise business context to derive solution and technical architecture at program and project scope whilst considering all aspects of solution design and being the main technical interface between the project and enterprise planning team, ensuring alignment to Enterprise Architecture principles, practices and roadmaps.
You ll enjoy analysing technology trends to determine their impact and benefit to Brit and oversee or consult on technical architecture implementation or modifications, promoting the architecture process, its outcome and ongoing results.
Key to the role is the design or architecture based upon OO, DRY and SOLID principles and the creaton of prototypes and evaluate 3rd party software with proof of concepts aswell as facilitating the preparation estimates and proposals for delivery tasks by 3rd party vendors.
You ll document technical architecture design and analysis work in solution blueprints, complying to EA guidance and aligning to Brit s 3-year roadmaps, strategic principles and practices. Following a configure before buy, before build principle.
