Job Description

The successful candidate will be taking a leading role in developing Netcompany's go-to-market capabilities as an experienced technical advisor to our existing and future clients.

As an Advisory Architect, we are looking for those who are able to work with existing and future clients to understand their challenges; explore and propose effective technical solutions and develop long-term trusted relationships.

Job responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and experience in our pre-sales and bid management processes
  • Develop long-term trusted advisor relationships with clients
  • Represent Netcompany's technical capabilities, experience, and values to prospective clients
  • Provide high-quality content and thought leadership in proposal creation
  • Lead exploratory meetings, assessment efforts and technical workshops with prospective clients
  • Develop tailored best-in-class solution designs and recommended approaches for clients
  • Recommend industry leading strategies and approaches across all domains advocating governance guardrail adherence and providing technical assurance whilst guiding our clients to expedite their decision-making processes
  • Lead the expansion and communication of Netcompany's thought leadership, producing proof of concept and art of the possible assets as required
  • Provide technical oversight and support to in-flight projects, maintaining senior-level client relationships as a trusted advisor
  • Participate in internal cross-project design reviews bringing objectivity and best practice recommendations into discussions
  • Provide leadership and mentoring for junior resources and aspiring architects
  • Participate in the evolution and development of the UK Architecture Practice and Centre of Excellence
  • Independently develop and nurture new client opportunities through new and established channels such as conferences or meet-ups and through leveraging your network.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in working in the IT industry with strong focus on Cloud Computing
  • Consulting experience in client-facing projects
  • Experience leading technical teams
  • Experience with working with the CXO level of large organisations
  • Comprehensive experience of Enterprise Architecture, enabling clients to realise business benefits from the exploitation of technology
  • Comprehensive experience in designing and implementing modular solutions, leveraging software engineering and dev ops principles
  • Direct experience of full lifecycle solution development and deployment best practices
  • Commercial acumen, combining technical experience with a commercial edge
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong experience in influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong personal drive and work ethic
