Head of Product required to create, drive and champion the long-term vision for the product to achieve our business strategy. This product leader is a customer centric motivator who inspires and coaches, while guiding the organisation in the pursuit of value growth.
This is a hybrid role at a salary of £120,000 + bonus and benefits.
Requirements:
- Creating and taking ownership of the product vision, engaging with key stakeholders, partners and third parties to deliver a coherent product roadmap in line with the overall business strategy
- Managing and prioritising the backlog to ensure that the focus of development is aligned with the delivery of the roadmap
- Maintaining a good level of commercial awareness, interest and understanding of end-to-end technology stacks/interfaces
- Ensuring that the business requirements are communicated to the technical team in a way that enhances the overall productivity and quality of the development, testing and delivery process
- Continuously improving the product through enhancements and new product development
- Ensuring the functionality of the product is appropriately documented and changes are effectively communicated
- Identifying areas of product opportunity and risk mitigation strategies for the business
Requirements:
- Excellent commercial acumen, including understanding of the commercial drivers that determine the viability and longevity of a product
- Comprehensive product portfolio management experience covering concept, design, build and release in an iterative environment, ideally for an online based business
- Clear, confident and proactive communicator able to bridge the gap between the business and technical expert
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Product delivery techniques such as story mapping, business process modelling, UX wireframing, BDD, prioritisation methods as well as epic, feature and story breakdown as part of a wider product backlog
- Experience of working closely with development teams in an agile environment
- Good UI skills with the ability to define and critique the user experience
