C# ASP.Net Application Developer / C# ASP.Net Programmer A great opportunity to work for a small but growing company within the finance and security sector as the sole C# ASP.Net Developer. You will work closely with 2 Java developers and 2 front end developers. This company has just inherited a new exciting product that will need developing. You will be responsible for building C# ASP.Net applications. Your primary responsibility will be to develop existing applications and design and develop new applications. You will be the sole Microsoft .Net Developer, coordinating with the rest of the development team, support and infrastructure. You'll need to be commitment to collaborative problem solving, design, and product quality. Responsibilities * Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications * Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# ASP.Net code * Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable mobile code (specifically iOS and Android) - Desirable * Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications * Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability * Work on bug fixing and improving application performance * Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency Skills * Proficient in C# ASP.Net * Confident with WebServices / WCF * Solid understanding of object-oriented programming * Familiar with various design and architectural patterns * Proficient in writing clean, readable .Net code * Experience with integration to external databases (SQL Server) * Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application * Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests * Familiarity with continuous integration Requirements * Minimum 5+ years' experience in C# ASP.Net development * Experience with WebServices / WCF * Advanced code troubleshooting skills * Testing skills * Confident with SQL Server * Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently * Must be a team player * Ability to adapt and learn new skills and technologies at a rapid pace * PCI Compliance v2/3 Knowledge (desirable) Must Have Technologies: * C# ASP.Net development skills (5+ years) * WebServices / WCF * Database design and SQL development If this role is of interest, please click Apply now
