This is an excellent opportunity for a capable web developer who enjoys owning features end-to-end in a modern, forward-thinking financial services business. We have our own proprietary applications, both back-office solutions as well as client facing.
You will work on multiple projects including continuing to enhance our own CRM solution, migrating legacy WebForms functionality to clean services and a modern UI. You’ll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; you will not be a “cog in the machine.”
You’ll be involved in every aspect of delivery - from requirements and design, to development, testing, deployment, documentation, and support, with a strong focus on scalability and maintainability. We are an extremely fast-growing business and as such, you will be required to adapt quickly to changes and business requirements. You must have a willingness to learn and adapt quickly in order to satisfy changes to business requirements.
The job role will consist of the below responsibilities:
Development
CRM (WebForms/.NET/TSQL/BPM): Configure and extend our proprietary CRM using TSQL, BPM/workflow tools and C#
Modernisation: Incremental modernisation of legacy applications using strangler pattern
Client facing applications: Develop our customer self service portal and other front-end applications utilising React/Typescript and .NET 9 Web API

With a global user base and strong presence in their industry, they're entering an exciting new phase of product innovation and growth. We're helping them to look for a Lead Laravel Engineer to take charge of a brand-new development stream focused on greenfield projects and major new features. This is a rare opportunity to shape the role around you, build your own team, and influence our technical direction from day one. You'll work closely with the Head of Product to architect, build, and launch new features using Laravel, React, React Native and AWS, whilst helping define the engineering culture. The role: Lead the design and delivery of new products and features for platforms. Define technical architecture and set the roadmap for your projects Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code (Laravel APIs + React Front End). Mentor developers, champion best practices, and drive engineering excellence. Collaborate across teams to turn ambitious ideas into real, user-loved products Requirements: Experience as a Lead or Principal level software engineer Strong experience with PHP (Laravel), React, React Native and TypeScript. Solid database experience with MySQL and cloud knowledge (ideally AWS, but experience with any of the key cloud platforms is also fine) A proactive, product-focused mindset with a passion for building high-quality software.
