Job Title: Data Architect
London - Hybrid
Salary: £90,000-100,000
THE COMPANY:
Our client is a start-up insurance company working with large organisations to assess risk and liability. They are looking for a Data Architect to establish their data infrastructure and work to promote best data governance practices.
THE ROLE:
As the Data Architect, you will work to develop and deploy a data infrastructure to promote efficiency in the Analytics function.
You will:
- Advise on tools and systems integrated into the business
- Assist with the ETL function
- Ensure data lineage and quality
- Ensure frameworks are embedded in the data infrastructure
- Promote data literacy and best governance practices across the business
- Work collaboratively with a Data Architect to develop an Azure data lake for scratch
REQUIREMENTS:
You will require:
- Azure (or GCP, AWS)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent knowledge of MI/BI platforms
- Experience data mapping API and web services data models
- Experience developing greenfield data infrastructure
- Experience in Insurance, Financial or Professional services (highly advantageous)
- Experience interacting with cloud databases
- Python (advantageous)
- SAP (advantageous)
- Snowflake
- SQL
