The opportunity

As sustainability becomes the norm for organisations, and climate action is an imperative for all corporates and governments, demand for expertise and solutions has grown exponentially.

With the largest dedicated sustainability practice (Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS)) of all the consulting organizations, EY is already well placed to make a positive impact for our clients and society. To respond to the needs of our clients, EY is embarking on a transformation to accelerate the growth of sustainability capability across the firm - by investing heavily in CCaSS as the core, and embedding sustainability across key solutions in EY's service lines.

CCaSS solutions are in climate change, ESG and environmental health and safety. One of the opportunities at the heart of sustainability (and wider ESG) is digital; EY sees technology and data driven change, delivered through collaborative partnerships, as a critical path to solving these complex and critical problems.

Your key responsibilities

EY is building a full-service digital capability, dedicated to ESG and initially focusing on Sustainability.

The analyst/manager role will

• Define and build out EY's Sustainability Digital Strategy (e.g. defining ESG product app store)
• Aid the execution of the strategy (e.g. designing/ running innovation experiments with FTSE 25 companies)
• Conduct a variety of quantitative and qualitative research support the strategy
• Work with internal EY teams and external technology partners to define potential platform models and to assess market technology offerings
• Support client engagements in exploring ideas/ solutions, bringing market knowledge and creative thought
• Managing delivery of 90d pilots/ PoCs from ideation to point of scaling

Skills and attributes for success

We are seeking a broad range of expertise, competencies and skills including:

• Strong analytical ability
• Specific and material experience of structured delivery
• Curiosity and ability to learn quickly
• ESG content understanding and/or experience
• Collaborative mindset
• Direct experience in technology delivery

To qualify for the role you must have

• 8+ years of consulting/analysis/project management
• Worked in/ran multi-disciplinary tasks to deliver tangible output
• Experience in managing multiple parallel tasks - across global remit and variety of commercial activities
• Tangilble care/curiosity for sustainability

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience of, or knowledge in ESG/Sustainability/ EHS
• Direct experience of some point in product lifecycle from design to pure delivery
