Our talented engineers in the Enforcement Support Team areresponsible for supporting bespoke solutions delivered internationally whichaddress Civil and Criminal traffic violations; think Clean Air Zones (lowemission Zones), Average Speed check and Bus Lane enforcement.
We are looking for a highly motivated Support Engineerlooking to become a key player and complement our existing Team. You must be acustomer focussed, well organised and enthusiastic individual.
The RoleYou will be the point of contact for our customers and workproactively support our range of solutions to ensure that they can do their bitin addressing local challenges within road transport network and theenvironment whilst delivering an exceptional level of service. For this role youwill require a keen sense of detail and focus to achieve success:
Responsibilities will include:- Be theprimary Engineer supporting a selection of Clients and becoming the key contactfor any support issues and queries.
- Ownand be responsible for providing exceptional support to our Clients and our rangeof bespoke enforcement solutions. Achieve this via onsite and remote working processesresolving a range of complex hardware and software issues within SLAs so thatwe can meet our contractual obligations.
- Workclosely with the Senior Enforcement Engineers to improve incident life-cycletiming and solution efficiency and reliability.
- Assistwith rollouts of software and service upgrades.
- Workwith other Engineers and Sub-Contractors to plan and support on-streetmaintenance activities for the system safely and effectively.
Skills and experience required:- Experienceworking with PC hardware and software; fault finding, diagnosing and repairing.
- Someonewith a working knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and basic networkingprinciples
- Someonewho is interested in learning bespoke and technical systems.
- Someonewho is proactive and result-oriented (you'll also have a structured andhands-on approach to complex tasks).
- Someonewho can work on their own or as part of a team; works well with other peopleand communicates effectively within the team and with clients.
- Advantageouslysomeone with an understanding of SQL and possesses ability create queries tomanipulate and retrieve data.
- AnyITIL qualifications would be beneficial to your application
- Someonehappy to travel across the UK to support customer systems. With full UK drivinglicence.
