The opportunity
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join a team that is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of applications counting development and maintenance of global applications and systems.
The team is geographically dispersed and comprises of all disciplines required to deliver IT solutions for our customers thus including project managers, business analysts, application engineers and quality assurance engineers.
Following EY Solution delivery standards, the team makes use of the latest releases of technology from Microsoft along with others. They are responsible for the delivery of programs that offer a chance to work on web applications that span the spectrum of devices from desktop to tablets to smart phones.

Your key responsibilities
- Creating requirement specifications, analysing requirements, creating visual models, facilitating elicitation sessions, and digging around in the data when needed.
- Designing and building reports - capture data requirements for the client and team.
Skills and attributes for success
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Effectively manage communications and required reporting within the globally distributed team.
- Have knowledge and experience of all phases of software development including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and defect management.
- Have experience in business intelligence, data warehousing or advanced analytics projects.
- Ability to work comfortably in fast-pasted scaled Agile Framework (daily scrums, frequent demo for clients, planning meetings, grooming sessions, and team buildings).
To qualify for the role you must have
- Experience with Enterprise Analysis.
- Expertise on industry-standard, structured business analysis techniques (i.e., user stories, use cases, UML/logical modeling, BABOK, etc.)
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM required and experience with SAFe is preferred
- Experience training and driving others to use requirements management, modelling, and change control software(s).
