Our global Quality Engineering Consulting practice is focused on delivering high quality services across the entire systems development lifecycle in order to help clients deliver software safely and predictably.

Our experience in complex software delivery enables us to collaborate with our clients to help them achieve their strategic technology objectives as well as optimise their costs whilst doing so. If you have a progressive approach to Quality Engineering, with strong experience in test automation and an understanding of Agile and DevOps principles, then we would love hear from you.

Your key responsibilities
  • Leads the delivery of test plans to ensure product quality, setting project timelines and monitoring the activities of other testers
  • Designs, develops, and supports test cases for functional and non-functional domains, solving escalated issues and resolves issues that may impede the test effort
  • Leads on the identification of the test scope and test environment set-up, prepares test plans, identifies relevant metrics and keeps track of required effort for small initiatives
  • Manages the execution of test reports and reviews and interprets recommendations for product or design changes
  • Defines and reviews internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs
  • Develops relationships with other engineering groups to evaluate, recommend and implement testing procedures for products, systems, components or modifications

Skills and attributes for success
To be successful we are looking for individuals who have significant experience in either an internal or external test engineering role with proven experience in a customer facing environment. The role requires extensive understanding of testing lifecycle and agile frameworks with a comprehensive, end to end understanding of the IT life cycle (pipeline, resource, demand, project delivery, financial).

To qualify for the role you must have
  • Experience in delivery methodologies including Agile, DevOps
  • Experience in end to end test automation set up including frameworks, tools, programming languages, data & environments
  • Extensive experience in script debugging, associate library preparation, exception handling, integration with Test Management tools like QC/ALM, RTM, qTest etc
  • Experience in tool installation, test environment setup and tool server maintenance & administration
  • Experienced in continuous integration/continuous testing/continuous deployment and continuous delivery tools
  • Some project management experience in an engineering / test environment

Ideally, you'll also have
  • Exposure to WebService or SOA Testing
  • Experience in cloud technologies including cloud migration
  • Experience in data migration and data warehouse testing
