Graduate Data Engineer Leeds

Are you looking to embark on your career as a Data Engineer? Well, I am working with one of the leading companies in Yorkshire, award winning within their field who are looking for talented individuals to deliver their Data Science projects! All training is provided, as this role is for a recent graduate.

For this role, it will need someone with drive, a strong interest in this area and the ability to learn quickly. This role is offering a salary of up to £25,000 with all training provided.

What you'll be getting involved in

• You would be building DataFlow pipelines in order to facilitate importing and cleansing data from other sources
• Gaining insights from analysis of data and following processes for development in relation to Data Engineering projects, notably around source control, deployment, testing and delivery
• Advanced Machine Learning with TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform
• Building Resilient Streaming Systems on Google Cloud Platform
• Data Engineering on Google Cloud Platform

Requirements

• 1:1 or strong 2:1 in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar.
• Solid skills in Python or R
• Solid development / programming background (C#, Java, .Net, C++ - knowledge in a number of languages)

Ideally knowledge within a number of the following:

• Building Machine Learning models
• Building Probabilistic/Bayesian models
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and statistical analysis theory and practice
• Experience or an aptitude for independently discovering value and actionable insights from data
• Knowledge in Cloud (Google Cloud Platform, Azure or AWS) desirable
