Become the Head of Platform for this thriving UK fintech scale up. Remain hands on but manage and develop others.
What you will do
- Manage a team of eight SREs, across multiple regions, ensuring they are tasked and equipped to succeed
- Liaise with external suppliers such as hosting & software providers
- Own and manage the hosting budget, reporting into the VP Engineering
- Manage and run a 24/7 platform support rotation
- Plan and manage the growth of a multi-region, multi-cloud Kubernetes estate
What you need
- AWS experience
- First class diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience building and running a production infrastructure estate
- Have worked with Kubernetes and containers at scale
- Experience of secure environments
There is a massive commitment to technical excellence with a gifted team in place, but egos are parked at the door. Work/life balance is central to the company's ethos, and they operate a hybrid model necessitating being in the London office once a week maximum. The salary is up to £120,000 + bonus.
