Salary: £20,000 - £22,000 (&benefits)

An excellent opportunity based in Newport for a Junior or Graduate Software Developer to join a well-established business within the legal sector.

What will you do?

You will play a key role in the programming and development of internal software applications. Working closely with senior members of the team to ensure efficient functionality for internal users.

You will be working within a small I.T Team but will also communicate with & provide support to non-technical employees & external clients.

You will assist with the implementation of software systems when required and have a key input on recommending efficient ways of working.

Developing (with support) modern applications and content for key stakeholders Via . MS .NET framework, C#, ASP.Net, SQL Server etc.

Junior Software Developer requirements:

- A-Level (or similar) in Information Technology or a related subject.
Bonus if you have progressed to a degree level.
- Good understanding of OOP & software design principles.
- Proficiency with MS SQL Server

Bonus points:

Commercial experience working as a Software Developer.
Understanding of relational databases
Experience using various programming languages
Knowledge of Testing and working in TDD environment.
