Information Security Architect
Farnborough, Hampshire (with up to 3 days per week remote / work from home options)
Information Security Architect required by a thriving consultancy within the Defence and Security sector, based in Farnborough, Hampshire. The Information Security Architect will ideally be Security Cleared to SC level or match the criteria to be able to successfully undergo SC Level Security Clearance.

A few details about the role
As an Information Security Architect in a cutting-edge technology environment, you will have a challenging, vastly interesting, and technically diverse role. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Producing evidence to meet various MOD regulations
- Designing options and solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities
- Working with various teams across the business including Software Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering and Cyber Security
- Onsite / project tech stack includes but is not limited to Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache (NiFi, Kafka), NodeJS, Typescript, MongoDB, AI, Machine Learning etc.
What you will need
As an Information Security Architect, you will need the following experience:
- Experience of producing evidence to meet MOD JSP 604 regulations
- Experience of Information Assurance in a cloud context
- Ability to work in small teams across diverse projects
- Experience of cross-security domain approaches and solutions
- Ability to provide design options to overcome or mitigate vulnerabilities
- Understanding of threats in a government and mission environment
- Preferable: understanding of MOD and other departmental IT in defence and security
- Preferable - experience of working with MOD CyDR and accreditors
- Good written skills
